Craig Mains. Uris Library Interior Stairwell (Taken from the entrance to the A. D. White Library; W. H. Miller portrait in center), ca. 2015.
This online tour of William Henry Miller's designs for Uris Library (then known as the University Library) used digitized images from the Cornell University Archives Picture Collection and personal collections built by Cornell University Library staff intimately familiar with its architectural design and quirks. We hope you will enjoy learning about its origins, and will come visit in person. We look forward to meeting you there!
Photography and image editing by Craig Mains, formerly of Access Services, Olin & Uris Libraries
Curatorial text and research by Susette Newberry of Research & Learning Services, Olin & Uris Libraries
