Paintings and Drawings by J.O. Mahoney
The Art of Olaf M. Bauner, 1869-1947

Works by Cornell faculty, students, and alumni are frequently exhibited on campus. Olaf Brauner first began the College’s exhibition program in a temporarily converted Goldwin Smith classroom. Over the years the College created exhibition space in White Hall, Morse Hall, Willard Straight Hall, Tjaden Hall, and in Sibley Hall, in a gallery named for John Hartell. The University renovated the Andrew Dickson White House as an art museum in 1953, and the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art opened in 1973.
