This online exhibition reflects the content of a physical exhibition that was on display in Cornell University’s Carl A. Kroch Library in 1995. The exhibition and accompanying teacher’s guide were developed through a partnership between Cornell University and the Ithaca City School District. Key 1995 project participants were Mark Dimunation (Curator of Rare Books at Cornell University Library’s Rare & Manuscript Division), Maryterese Pasquale-Bowen (teacher at Ithaca High School), and Dr. D. Fairchild Ruggles (then Visiting Assistant Professor at Cornell University).
